How Dry Stack Works

Dry Stack is a safe, secure and convenient way to store your boat offering significant advantages and cost savings compared to berthing in the water all year round.

At Haven Quay, we offer dry stack storage for RIBs and motorboats up to 10m LOA and 3.5 tonnes in weight.

As with any Yacht Haven, our Dry Berthing service is entirely geared around your needs. We store your boat ashore on our purpose built cradles or racks and launch your boat for you whenever you want to use it. This year round service offers the flexibility of unlimited launching on demand, 7 days a week in the summer, and weekdays through the winter months.
 

Step 1

- You simply call ahead to notify us of when you want your boat to be launched.

Step 2

- One of our fully trained and experienced Haven staff will safely move your boat from its secure storage ashore on to the water, ready for your arrival.

 Step 3

- When you return to the marina at the end of your day on the water, simply tie up alongside and let our Haven team take care of the rest, knowing that your boat will be washed down, cared for and safely stowed ashore ready for next time.

Of course, if you want to visit somewhere else, take a boating holiday, we can assist you with your trailer set up. Just bring your trailer down to Haven Quay, we'll load your boat on, and off you go. When you return, we'll just lift your boat safely back into its cradle or rack.

How much notice is required?

The team at Haven Quay prefer two hour's notice to launch during boatyard hours, 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week, throughout the summer. If you require use of your boat on the weekends during the winter (or think you're likely to use it) please let us know by 3pm on Friday, and we'll arrange for your boat to be on the water in preparation for your arrival.
