Marina Information
We are
committed to making your time with us as enjoyable and relaxing as
possible.
Our Marina Reception is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, throughout
the year (closed Christmas Day) and we monitor VHF Channel 80 and
37.
There is a freephone taxi service available in reception,
weather forecasts posted daily in reception, ice for sale, a
24-hour Cyber Corner for internet and email access, and post boxes
for incoming/outgoing mail.
Our helpful and experienced Haven team is on hand 24 hours a day to
assist you in any way we can.
Resident berth holders and visitors
We have 730 berths,
fully serviced with power and water. The marina is accessible
at all states of tide. There is free parking in the dedicated
berth holders' car park.
Visiting
boats are very welcome, and as Largs is a popular destination
we ask you to book a berth in advance. Then call us on VHF channel
80 or by phone 01475 675333 on the day for berthing
instructions.
Dry Berthing is available for RIBs and motorboats ashore. The
package includes unlimited launching and recovery, 7 days a week.
Boats remain weed and barnacle free, helping to maintain
on-the-water performance and requiring less annual maintenance
work.
We also run a fully equipped Boatyard offering lift out and
storage ashore for boats up to 70 tonnes.
Security 24/7
The marina is protected by round-the-clock security patrols,
CCTV surveillance and electronic bridgehead access gates. If you
need help, please call 01475 675333 or 07920 098222.
Fuel and Waste/Sewage Disposal
Start cruising whenever you wish with our 24-hour Fuel Pontoon,
selling marine diesel, unleaded petrol and Calor gas. There is a
high-speed diesel pump for large deliveries. Please call 01475
675333 or 07920 098222 to allow us to fulfil your order without
delay.
We provide large skips and glass/cardboard recycling facilities
for general domestic waste, waste oil tanks, and free battery
and oil filter disposal. Flare disposal is charged at £2.00 per
flare. Please ask at the marina office for assistance. We ask you
to inform staff of any spillages.
Boat owners may use our sewage pump-out facility to empty their
own holding tanks free of charge at the fuel berth.
Water, Electricity and Free Wi-Fi
All pontoons have access to fresh water hosepipes and individual
power points.
Electricity is charged in addition to the annual berthing
fee.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the marina 24 hours a day -
Please collect your unique access code from reception to register
for this service.
Toilets, Showers, Laundry and Trolleys
Facilities are conveniently located in the main marina building,
and additional facilities are located in the LSC clubhouse. Open 24
hours throughout the year to berth holders and visitors, accessible
with security cards or access codes.
Trolley parks are situated at each bridgehead location; most are
£1 coin operated. Please return your trolley when you've finished
with it, and report any trolleys in the water to marina staff.
Chandlery, Provisions and Cashpoints
There is a well stocked chandlery on-site, open 7 days a
week.
Morrisons is the main supermarket in Largs town, open 7 days a
week, and this is where the nearest cash point can be found.
Car Parking
There is ample free car parking across the site and a dedicated
berth holders' car park.
Yacht Tuition
Largs Yacht Haven operates a marina professional scheme whereby
owners can receive tuition on board their own yacht for anything
from an hour to a week. If you are interested, please contact the
marina reception on 01475 675333.
