Hoisting & Lifting
Our 75 ton travel hoist operates 5 days a week, all-year round, as well as a 24-hour emergency call out service. Lifting takes place from our deep water hoist dock (max beam 6.5m) and boats can be lifted and held in the hoist for an hour or overnight for small jobs, or stored ashore. Vessels can be lifted to and from road transport as required.
Our mobile crane and forklifts can be used for all sorts of jobs including mast-stepping and engine lifts as required.
Storage Ashore
Our boatyard provides storage for a large number a boats, fully serviced with power and water. Vessels are safely positioned on chocks or in cradles (available to hire from the marina). All boats are pressure washed before being stored ashore, and we set up the yard carefully to ensure your boat is easily accessible at all times.
Winter Packages
Are you looking for somewhere to store your boat for the winter? Our boatyard is a very popular location for winter boat storage in Plymouth. We advise booking your winter lift-out as early as possible. And when booking, please provide details of your specific requirements and let us know if you require a cradle.
We offer great packages for winter storage ashore and winter berthing afloat.
Pressure Washing
We offer various types of boat cleaning including our great value Lift & Scrubs.
During the warmer summer months, algae grows faster on boat hulls reducing boat performance and fuel efficiency. It is recommended that you come out of the water for a Lift & Scrub at least once during the summer to maintain your hull efficiency and prolong the life of your boat. If you are a keen racer, you may wish to book a Lift & Scrub at more regular intervals.
All boats must be pressure washed when coming ashore for storage.
Dry Berthing & Dry Stack
We offer dry berthing services for racing yachts from 7.6m-12m which includes one lift out and launch per week.
Dry Stack storage for motorboats is available at our sister-site, Yacht Haven Quay, located just 1nm further up the Cattewater. Suitable for RIBs and motorboats up to 36ft in length, the state-of-the-art facility is a safe, secure and convenient way to store a boat, with unlimited launch and recovery available on demand.
