Perfectly placed within Plymouth Sound, our Plymouth marina is the ideal embarkation and disembarkation point for any trip to explore the stunning coastlines of Devon, Cornwall and beyond.

Plymouth Yacht Haven offers safe and secure visitor berthing, just minutes away from the open water of Plymouth Sound, which is recognised as one of the richest maritime historic environments in the United Kingdom and preserved with European Marine Site Status.

The Ideal Location

Cruise in company

The location of the marina is an attraction in its own right. Our Plymouth visitor berths are framed by lush wooded hillsides and the South West Coast Path leads directly from the pontoon gates. This unique location gives you the option to explore this part of the stunning Devon coast by foot, adding another perspective and a different way of enjoying this beautiful coastline.

Yet, despite this peaceful location, Plymouth Yacht Haven is close to the heart of Plymouth, with all the superb facilities that this historic yet modern and vibrant maritime city has to offer a visitor.

Quality Facilities

Offering 450 fully serviced berths and having been awarded Five Gold Anchors from The Yacht Harbour Association, we welcome visiting vessels to their secure marina for a day, a week or longer stays.  Each visitor, regardless of their duration of stay, is afforded the same professional service and top-class facilities.

The Devon marina is accessible to visitors at all states of the tide and is open for 24-hours a day, all year round (expect on Christmas Day). We pride ourselves on having the most helpful staff in the industry, so come to our marina to experience it for yourself!

CCTV surveillance, 24-hour security patrols and electronic bridgehead access gates make visitor berthing at Plymouth Yacht Haven as secure as possible, so you can relax in the knowledge that security isn’t going to be a concern during your visit. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the marina to visitors and berth holders.

Opened in spring 2015, our new facilities have been dubbed "the best in the southwest". With luxury finishing touches, spacious shower cubicles and a bath, these facilities will definitely make you feel refreshed and pampered after a long day on the water.

For anything from a quick drink whilst watching the sun go down over the mouth of the River Plym to a spectacular meal for a special occasion The Bridge Bar and Restaurant offers each visitor an experience to suit their tastes.

Fantastic Plymouth Events

Plymouth Yacht Haven is also the venue for a number of prestigious events each year and 2013 saw it as the official finish harbour of the 2013 Rolex Fastnet Race and the end of the penultimate leg of the Route des Princes.  A visitor berth at our Plymouth marina would provide you with a unique seat from which to view top class events.

If you fancy a trip further afield then take the water taxi to The Barbican, Plymouth’s fascinating historic district, where you will find a vast selection of independent, specialist retailers and restaurants. The Barbican is also where you will find the famous Mayflower Museum; the opportunity to find out about the greatest sea faring adventures to set off from Plymouth, including the pilgrim fathers leaving for the new world, shouldn’t be missed.
