Boatyard Services

At Plymouth Yacht Haven we run a fully equipped boat yard offering lift out and storage ashore for boats up to 75 tonnes.

Our experienced boatyard staff are continually briefed on health and safety best practice and trained in the safe and professional operation of our boatyard equipment. We work hard to ensure that your boat is in safe hands.

 Boatyard Services

• Our 75 ton boat hoist and mobile crane operate Monday to Friday, with a 24-hour emergency haul-out service operating all year round

• The 75 ton boat hoist can lift vessels with a beam of up to 6.5 metres from a deep-water dock. Boats can be held in the hoist for an hour, overnight or over the weekend, and pressure washing facilities are available.

• For longer periods of storage ashore, vessels can hire cradles or be securely chocked.

• Storage ashore can be arranged from just a week to the whole winter season.

• We can also provide fully enclosed indoor storage space in our hangar - perfect for project work that requires getting out of the weather. (subject to availability)

• If you need to create space on your boat for racing, charter or refit work, we offer 15% off container storage at Blagdons Marine Park

• For Motor Cruisers, Sports Boats, RIBs and Fast Fishers up to 40' in length seeking a flexible dry berthing option, look no further than our purpose built, fully enclosed Dry Stack facility at our nearby Yacht Haven Quay  

• On-water 24-hour diesel sales and sewage pump out facility

• Other boatyard facilities include a crane for mast or engine lifts, a tractor & trailer, and a forklift - all with driver provided!

• Boatyard Services include lift & scrubs, pressure wash, mast lifting and boat moving.  Ask us about our scrub and antifoul offers.

• DIY launch and recovery is possible from our slipway, available for boats of up to 7.5m.
