Ralph Herring Race - EAORA

The East Anglian Offshore Racing Association present the Ralph Herring Race from West Mersea to Brunham-on-Crouch.

Start Line: The start line will be a line between the main mast of the Committee Vessel lying to the west of the Nass Beacon and an outer distance mark (Yellow Buoy with black flag) approximately 2 cables to the south of the Committee Vessel. Yachts start in an easterly direction leaving the Committee Vessel to port and the outer distance mark to starboard.

Course A: Colne Bar (P), North Eagle (S), Wallet No 4 (P), Medusa (S), NE Gunfleet (S), Sunk Head Tower (S), Gunfleet Spit (P), W Sunk (P), Gunfleet Spit (P), Barrow No.3 (S), N Middle (P), Whitaker (P), Whitaker No. 1 (S), Swallowtail West (S), Sunken Buxey (P),  Outer Crouch No.1 (S), Finish Line. (58 miles approximately) 

Course B: Colne Bar (P), North Eagle (S), Wallet No 4 (P), Wallet No.2 (S), NE Gunfleet (S), West Sunk (S), Gunfleet Spit (P), Whitaker (S), Swin Spitway (P), Swallowtail No. 2 (P),  Buxey Edge (S), Swallowtail West (P), Sunken Buxey (P), Outer Crouch No 1 (S), Finish Line. (48 miles approximately) 

Course C: Colne Bar (P), North Eagle (S), Wallet No 4 (P), Medusa (S), NE Gunfleet(S), Sunk Head Tower (S), Gunfleet Spit (P), Whitaker (P), Whitaker No. 1 (S), Swallowtail West (S), Sunken Buxey (P),  Outer Crouch No.1 (S), Finish Line. (51 miles approximately)                                                

Finish Lne: A line between the main mast of the Committee Vessel and the Crouch Buoy. Yachts finishing must leave the Crouch Buoy to Port and the Committee Boat to starboard.
