As the 2015 Southampton Boat Show drew to a close, Yacht Havens Group reflected on another successful year at Britain's biggest boating festival.
The 2015 show saw a dramatic change for Yacht Havens who took up a new, larger position in the Ocean Hall. Reflecting on the show, Lymington Yacht Haven Director Rupert Wagstaff commented, "We’ve enjoyed an excellent Southampton Boat Show this year with a very positive response and good quality of enquiries for our marina berthing and boatyard services in Lymington. Thanks to The Yacht Harbour Association for providing an excellent showcase for our marinas in a new location just inside the Ocean Hall this year. The show exceeded our expectations in terms of footfall and new enquiries for all of our marinas across the Yacht Havens Group."
Shortly after the show, the prize draw for the boat show competition was made at Yacht Havens' flagship marina in Lymington. The prize, of one month free berthing at any Yacht Haven Marina, was filmed live with Mr Wood drawn as the winner. Mr Wood has since confirmed he will be taking his one month free berthing at Neyland Yacht Haven over the 2015/16 winter season.
Concluding on the show, Rupert commented, "As always, it was a pleasure to welcome so many of our berth holders and visitors to our stand. Overall, it was very encouraging to see such a good turnout and strong interest in the boating industry. We look forward to returning to the Show next year.”
