The Scottish Opera will give two days of unique performances in Largs this summer, performing live from on the water!
The Pop-up Opera Tour will arrive on board MV Murray McDavid and perform operatic highlights on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June.
Pop-up Opera will perform in and from Scotland’s first floating opera house, the converted pilot cutter Murray McDavid, and will also give performances for schools in marinas down the Clyde. The performances featured are suitable for children aged three to seven.
Each day, they will perform three shows:
THE UNDERSEA WORLD OF BUBBLE MCBEA - at 12 noon
An interactive show featuring a singer, story teller, plus violin and cello. Running time approx. 25 mins. Max audience 25 children and 5 adults.
A LITTLE BIT OF THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE - at 2pm and 4pm
Featuring a singer, story teller, plus guitar and cello. Running time approx. 25 mins. Max audience 18.
