An invitation to our Berth Holders to join the Lymington Yacht Haven team and fellow berth holders on a Summer Meet at Studland Bay
Cruise to Studland Bay, anchor beneath the shelter of Old Harry Rocks, and join us ashore for a pre-lunch ramble along the cliff top path for breath-taking views of the Jurassic coast, and on to the Bankes Arms for lunch. After lunch, either stay on anchor for the night or berth at Poole Quay Boat Haven, and return to Lymington Yacht Haven the following day.
Suitable for Motorboats and Sailboats, a family friendly cruise in company to Studland Bay and Poole Harbour. Join us at Studland on Saturday, anchor in the bay about a mile outside the entrance to Poole Harbour.
Studland Bay is an excellent anchorage, especially sheltered in westerly winds. Wakeboarding, waterskiing and paddle-boarding are popular activities within the bay.
The Lymington Yacht Haven team will be there aboard a RIB to help you ashore from 11.30am on Saturday. We’ll be landing on the beach, so come prepared to get your feet wet. From here, join us for a pre-lunch ramble along the cliff top path, and on to the Bankes Arms for lunch. After lunch, either stay on anchor or take shelter in an overnight berth at Poole Quay Boat Haven, and return to Lymington Yacht Haven the following day.
Saturday 22nd June
Poole high tide - 13:21 - 1.8m
Poole low tide - 20:35 - 1.2m
Lymington high tide – 15:12
Lymington low tide – 20:31
Sunday 23rd June
Poole high tide - 12:11 - 1.7m
Poole low tide - 21:17 - 1.2m
Lymington high tide – 15:59
Lymington low tide – 21:17
The tides are right for the return trip on Sunday morning, but this of course means they are not ideal for heading West on Saturday morning, so if you need to use the tide then an early start is required on Saturday or head over with a favourable tide on the Friday afternoon and have an extra night’s adventure.

We will be on hand at Studland to help with all aspects of anchoring and getting ashore, but here’s a helpful guide on Anchoring with Care at Studland and here’s a preview of the Old Harry Rocks walk.
