We are pleased to have been working in partnership with the Lymington Harbour Commissioners and the Crown Estate on the programme to regenerate lost saltmarsh to the south of the marina.
This year we have completed phase 2 of the project by pumping more mud onto the marshes to reinstate areas that are suffering from natural erosion.
It is of benefit to all of us if we can increase the life of the saltmarsh for as long as possible. The hope is that the areas reinstated will now recolonize with native marsh flora enabling future generations to enjoy the beauty of the Lymington estuary.
