Lymington Yacht Haven turned a shade of pink last Friday to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.
The Wear It Pink campaign is run by Breast Cancer Now which aims to raise awareness of Breast Cancer in Men and Women.
Marina staff took part in the event by wearing various items of pink-coloured clothing including tutus, leggings, wigs and scarves! The Marina Office was also flooded with streamers, banners and posting all raising awareness of the campaign. Homemade cakes and cupcakes were donated by staff and friends of the marina and sold to raise money for the charity.
Becki Jackson, Office Manager at Lymington Yacht Haven, commented "The Wear It Pink day is great fun for all the staff. Our customers also really enjoy the day as they get to see the Haven Team in extravagant clothing whilst enjoying some delicious treats. A big thank you to everyone who took part in the day and donated their time and effort. With their support, we raised £206.15 for Breast Cancer Now".
