Pembroke River Rally

Pembroke river rally

21 July 2018

Organised by Pembroke Town Council in conjunction with West Wales Maritime Heritage Society, the River Rally is a popular, annual event. It is a rare opportunity to see the barrage gate lowered to allow boats to enter the Castle Pond and, in so doing, maintain the right of navigation up the Pembroke River on behalf of the people of Pembroke.

Last year the Rally took place in glorious sunshine and attracted a large crowd on the Quay which was delighted to see so many boats– 47 no less! Everyone agreed it was the best rally in years. So come along and enjoy – there will be stalls and activities on the Quay from 11am – 3pm: bouncy castle, barbeque, balloon modelling etc and you will be greeted by minions and daleks. You will even see an abseil down the outside of the castle wall!
