We are looking for a Summer Haven Master to join us on a temporary basis, approximately April to September 2023.
Plymouth's friendliest marina is looking for new recruits to join our enthusiastic and professional team at the picturesque Mount Batten peninsula.
This is a customer facing role as one of the first points of contact for 450 berth holder boats and numerous summer visitors. You must be confident and have the ability to make a great first impression. Good communication and people skills are a must, together with a flexible and ‘can do’ work ethic.

Requirements
You will need:
- Boating experience and knowledge
- Genuine customer service skills
- To be a reliable team player
- To be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers
- To maintain high levels of accuracy in administrative work
- To be computer literate with a confident telephone manner
Desirable, but not essential skills:
- A VHF radio licence
- RYA Power Boat Level 2

With a busy summer ahead, we're looking for someone enthusiastic to jump right into the team. Rota is flexible and includes regular weekend work. The start date is flexible based on your current arrangements but during the peak summer months, you can expect to work 35-40 per week. This is an hourly paid position c£12 per hour.
