Berth Your New Boat in Plymouth's Dry Stack Marina

Want to ensure your new boat stays in perfect condition for as long as possible?

Dry Stack berthing will ensure your boat stays in pristine condition as well as being the most secure method of berthing on offer. And, with the Devon & Cornwall coastline on your doorstep, we're in the perfect location to explore the country's best cruising ground (in our opinion!).

Dry Stack Marina Berthing: How does it work?

At Yacht Haven Quay, we offer undercover Dry Stack Berths for over 200 boats up to 36' (11m) in length and 5 tonnes in weight.

Your boat is stored in our fully enclosed, undercover Dry Stack facility, on our custom racking system, and we launch your boat for you whenever you want to use it.

With unlimited launch on demand, at just two hours' notice, your boat can be ready for use 7 days a week, 364 days a year.

Dry Stack Boat Storage: What are the benfits?

  • Undercover, sheltered and dry environment for your boat.
  • Complete protection from the weather - sun, wind, rain or snow.
  • Hassle-free boating with unlimited launch & recovery on demand.
  • Your boat is available for your use 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our Haven Team will simply launch your boat when you want to use it.
  • No tidal restrictions.
  • No trailering or slipway hassles (and when you return to the marina at the end of your day, you can simply tie up your boat and let our Haven team do the rest).
  • A fresh-water jet-wash after every retrieval, which significantly reduces any damage caused by salt-water deterioration.
  • Improved fuel economy due to a cleaner, faster and more efficient hull.
  • Reduced wear and tear on the hull of your boat, which results in significantly lower maintenance and repair costs, and maximises the life and preserves the value of your boat.
  • No need to use polluting antifoul paints.
  • Reduced anode wear.
  • Easy access to your boat for maintenance (as your boat is already out of the water, repairs to shafts, props or outboards are easy to accomplish).
  • Increased peace of mind with safe and secure undercover storage ashore - No concerns about your boat slipping its mooring lines in strong winds.
  • More time to spend on the water enjoying yourself!
