Boatyard & Drystack Marina Operative
A new member of staff is required to join an enthusiastic, professional team in Plymouth. The role is varied but mainly focussed on boatyard activities including the operation of the UK’s largest indoor Drystack Marina where we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our helpful, can-do attitude.
The successful applicant will need:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- To be a reliable team player
- To be prepared to work outdoors, including various maintenance tasks
- To be punctual, motivated and a problem solver
- Basic computer literacy and a good telephone manner
40 hours per week are worked on a shift-basis, including alternate weekends. A degree of flexibility is required, depending on peak busy periods.
Experience of boats, boathandling, heavy plant and machinery and general maintenance are all an advantage, though training will be given. A full driving licence is a necessity.
Salary dependent on experience. There is also a company pension scheme, and private healthcare.
