FAQ - Pay and Benefits

  • When is my next payday? Your salary is paid monthly in arrears on or the nearest working day to 26th of each calendar month.  Where the day falls on the weekend, your salary will be paid on the Friday before.  Credit transfer pays your salary direct into your chosen bank or building society account.
  • Who are our payroll providers? Our Payroll is processed though Francis Clarke Payroll Solutions.
  • How do I view my payslip/P60? You can view your payslip and P60 from the previous financial year by logging into the Paycircle Pay Portal.
  • Help! I have forgotten my username and/or password, what do I do? Please contact HR@yachthavens.com.
  • Can you explain my pay slip and deductions? Yes of course! Please contact HR@yachthavens.com.
  • I think my tax code is wrong, who do I contact? Please contact HMRC directly on 0300 200 3300 to clarify. You don’t need to do anything to notify us once you have contacted HMRC as they will update us. Opening times: Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm. Closed on weekends and bank holidays. You can also find out information on the official HMRC app or view our personal tax account or business tax account using HMRC online services.

FAQ - Work Schedule

  • What is my holiday entitlement and how do I request holiday? Please speak to your manager directly to book holiday, they will keep a record of your holiday days taken and requested future dates. We always recommend keeping your own record too!
  • How are holidays and paid time off handled? The holiday year runs between 1st February to 31st January. Bank holidays and public holidays are treated by the company as normal working days due to the nature of our business.
  • Can I request flexible working? As an employee, you have the right to request flexible working to fit in with your family commitments. This, however, does not mean that the company will automatically grant your request, but we are obliged to consider it seriously and to respond to it appropriately. Please speak to your manager in the first instance.
  • How do I request a leave of absence? (e.g. maternity/paternity?) Please contact your manager and include HR@yachthavens.com as soon as you can if you discover you are going to have a baby.  This way we can be sure to plan how to cover your absence, advise you on your benefits and rights and, most of all, make sure that your health and safety is our first consideration during the term of your pregnancy.

  • I need to update my home address/email address – who do I contact? Please inform your manager and email HR@yachthavens.com so we can update your employee records and inform our external Payroll company, Francis Clark Payroll Solutions. Please also remember to inform AXA and AVIVA of the change. Call AXA on 0800 587 0955 option 4 and log into your My Aviva account to update your personal contact details.
  • I need to update my bank details – who do I contact? Please inform your manager and email HR@yachthavens.com so we can update your employee records and inform our external Payroll company, Francis Clark Payroll Solutions.
  • I need to update my contact telephone number – who do I contact? Please inform your manager and email HR@yachthavens.com so we can update your employee records.
  • My medical circumstances have changed - do I need to tell anyone? Yes please! It is very important we hold the correct medical information for you so we can keep you safe at work. Please let your manager know and email HR@yachthavens.com so we can update your employee records.  
  • I need to update my next of kin details – who do I contact? Please inform your manager and email HR@yachthavens.com so we can update your employee records.

Company Policies

  • Where can I find the employee handbook or company policies? Please contact HR@yachthavens.com to request a copy.
  • How should I report a workplace concern or issue? Please speak to your manager in the first instance. Should you feel you are unable to speak to them, you should then contact Helen Grew/Sarah Osborne at HR@yachthavens.com.
  • Who can I speak to if I have any financial or health issues? Please speak to your manager in the first instance. Should you feel you are unable to speak to them, you should then contact Helen Grew/Sarah Osborne at HR@yachthavens.com.

  • I need to update my home address/email address – who do I contact?
