Accounts Assistant @ Yacht Havens Group, Lymington

Yacht Havens Group is looking for an enthusiastic, hard working Accounts Assistant to join their head office team for a 9-12 maternity cover role. You will be based at their picturesque Lymington Yacht Haven.

Excellent communication and organisation skills are a must, together with a flexible and ‘can do’ work ethic.

You will need:

  • To be highly computer literate with the ability to pick up new computer packages quickly
  • To have advanced excel skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • To be a team player
  • To be able to work under pressure
  • To be organised and methodical
  • To maintain high levels of accuracy
  • To possess a professional telephone manner
  • To be confident, outgoing and proactive as you will be dealing with our staff at our marinas across the UK and in Netherlands.

This is a temporary position covering maternity leave for 9-12 months.

You will be responsible for preparing the Group management accounts, monthly revenue reviews. You will also be reasonable for day to day sales reconciliations for your allocated marinas from within our Group, payments to suppliers and Vat returns.

This role will suit some one who is IT literate with a good level of accounting knowledge. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, and as our business is open 365 days a year bank holidays are normal working days.
Yacht Havens Group is a major player in the Marine and Leisure business and offers all the benefits you would expect from an expanding operation.

  • Salary: £22,500 to £25,000 depending upon experience.
  • Contract length: 9 months
  • Expected start date: 24/08/2020
