The company behind two of Ayrshire's most popular marinas has been recognised for their wellbeing initiatives during lockdown.
Buzzworks operator hospitality venues across Ayrshire including Scotts at Largs Yacht Haven and Scotts at Troon Yacht Haven. The CIS Excellence Awards recognises innovation and companies who strive for excellence when it comes to addressing mental health issues within its employees, and staff wellbeing.
Buzzworks were recognised for their outstanding pledge to support the mental health of their staff throughout lockdown, resulting in the award for Wellbeing in Hospitality Award in the 2021 CIS Excellence Awards.
Their programme of staff support include home schooling support, free online fitness classes and regular, direct contact with the company's senior team. The company also trained twelve mental health first aiders through a course at Ayrshire College.
