We are proud to announce a partnership with Morvargh Sailing Project's ASPIRE260 programme, providing one fully-funded place for a young person to join their Round Britain Adventure in 2027.
In spring 2027, Morvargh Sailing Project will depart Fowey onboard tall ship Helen Mary R for an extraordinary circumnavigation of Britain.
ASPIRE360 is the only UK Sail Training expedition where the same young crew undertakes the entire circumnavigation together. One boat, ten young people and more than five weeks sailing all the way around Britain and home again.
There are no passengers. They'll become the crew: steering, helping navigate, handling sails, standing watches day and night, cooking and sharing responsibility for life aboard.

About this trip - ASPIRE360
- 28 days
- 2,000miles
- 10 young people
- 1 Crew
Departing from Fowey on 28th March 2027, Helen Mary R will sail clockwise, stopping off at Neyland, Dublin, Isle of Man, Belfast, Campbeltown, Gigha, Oban, Tobermory, through the Calendonian Canal, Aberdee, Edinbrugh, Newcastle, under Tower Bridge into central London, Cowes and back to Fowey on 5th May.

A full-funded place, supported by Yacht Havens
Cost should never be a reason a young person misses out on an opportunitiy like ASPIRE360.
Delivering an expedition of this scale will cost a little over £32,000 with each family normally asked to contribute £800 each.
As part of our partnership with Morvargh Sailing Project, we are proud to have fully-funded a place for one young person to join their adventure of a lifetime.

A little more about Morvargh Sailing Project
Founded by Matt & Vicky Barraud, Morvargh Sailing Project use sail training to unlock confidence, resilience and self-belief in young people. By giving meaningful responsibility, real challenges, and the support to overcome this, Morvargh Sailing Project help inspire and change lives of young people, as well as breaking barriers to allow entry into sailing.
Helen Mary R is the Project's vessel; a Bowman 57 cutter-rigged ketch. Strong, capable, coded to MCA standards, and worthy of carrying young people safely offshore on meaningful voyages.
