British Yachting Awards
For the fourth time, we are honoured to represent Scotland in the British Yachting Awards as a nominee in the Marina of the Year category, presented by Sailing Today and Yachts & Yachting.
This year's nomination marks our fourth appearance on the shortlist, having previously been nominated in 2019, 2021 and 2024. It is a testament to the continued dedication of our team, the loyalty of our berth holders and visitors, and the vibrant sailing community that makes Largs such a special destination.
A notable year on the Clyde
The nomination comes at the end of a particularly notable year for Largs Yacht Haven and the wider sailing community on the Clyde. Throughout 2026, Largs has proudly hosted an exceptional programme of events spanning every level of the sport, including the Fife Regatta, the prestigious Richard Mille Cup, the Largs Regatta Festival, and the Optimist National Championship. Together, these events showcased the full spectrum of sailing, from world-class classic yachts and competitive keelboat racing through to the next generation of junior sailors, reinforcing Largs' reputation as one of the UK's premier yachting destinations.
It also marks the seventh nomination for the Yacht Havens Group in these highly regarded awards, following previous nominations for Neyland Yacht Haven in 2018, 2020 and 2023.
