Learn to sail
The best way to learn how to sail or how to drive a motorboat, is to take an RYA-approved course. RYA Powerboat Level 2 courses and RYA Competent Crew courses teach how the basics of boating and help build your confidence on the water.
Various companies in Neyland provide these courses which can be tailored to you, your boat or your group.
Fishing charter
If fishing is your passion, you’ll be pleased to know that the waters around Pembrokeshire provide some of the best angling opportunities in Wales.
So get onboard a fishing charter boat - you can anchor up and do some bait fishing for rays, conger eels or smoothhounds, or maybe drift along on the tide over some of the inshore reefs looking for codling and mackerel? Perhaps cast a lure into a rocky gully in search of a bass or a colourful wrasse.
Several fishing charter companies operate from Neyland, offering general half/full day trips, tuition and group days out.
