Life Rings
Coinciding with Drowning Prevention Week, we're pleased to conclude the refurbishment of many of our critical safety features around the Yacht Haven.
Upgraded life rings in protective houses have been installed along the pontoons in both basins. These can be found below the red capped piles. There are also fire extinguishers housed beneath every ring which are serviced annually.
Alarm Points
A reminder that there are three alarm points located on the main walkways in both basins. In emergency situations, pressing this push button will activate a light and alarm system which links back to the Marina Office. Our trained staff will attend the location to assist.
We hope you never need to use them, but please take a moment on your next visit to the Yacht Haven to familiarise yourself with the locations of these alarm points.
