The Yacht Haven
enjoyed an unexpected change of scenery last week when a short spell of snow swept across the waterway. The flurry settled lightly on pontoons, decks, and the surrounding woodland, giving the marina a crisp wintry look for several hours.
Despite colder temperatures, operations continued as normal. Staff monitored walkways and ensured safe access, while berth-holders visiting during the morning were treated to rare snowy views over the Haven. The snow cleared by the afternoon as milder air returned, leaving only a hint of winter behind.
