We're delighted to inform you that the replacement tender pontoon has been launched off and the team have immediately begun the process of fixing the three sections together.
The new pontoon is larger with a much-improved with 'toast rack' around the east & west sides as well as in the middle, as well as non-slip launching ramps, additional treads and solid handrails to make it easier for to launch/recover tenders.
The new pontoon has been our biggest self-build project to date & was carried out in between other seasonal tasks. It has been very much a Fambridge Yacht Haven Team effort with all of our staff + friends being involved in one way or another!

Update Friday 4th October
All three sections of the tender pontoon are now secure and alongside the Yacht Station pontoon. We have also begun installing the bridge-step that takes users from the main pontoon walkway across to the Tender Pontoon.
Our next job is to begin decking the areas between the three sections, and install guard wires around the outside of the entire structure.
Update 2nd October
All three sections are now lashed to the main Yacht Station pontoon and our team of Paul, Tom and James are working hard to securely bolt the three sections together.
Update 1st October
The third section of the Tender Pontoon has now been launched and we have installed the second launch ramp and secured this into place (in fairly challenging, lumpy conditions!). Thank you to the team for getting project this far!
Update 30th September
We have splashdown! The first two sections of the replacement tender pontoon are now in the water! The third section should be launched tomorrow along with the second launch ramp.
