The Scottish Series is an excellent fun-filled weekend, from competitive sailing to social activities.
Scottish Series is a long-standing sailing event which takes place on the May bank holiday weekend, based out of Tarbert, Loch Fyne. The management of the event has recently been taken over by an enthusiastic group of volunteers, with Jamie McGarry as its chairman.
The Series has a long history of inclusive participation. Involving multi classes, international yachts, community engagement, short course and passage racing. All this centred in some of the most stunning waters in Scotland.
The Scottish Series includes racing for the following classes IRC, One Design, CYCA and CYCA restricted sail, the latter sometimes known as CYCA without spinnakers, or CYCA white sail. So there is something for every sailing enthusiast.
