Troon Yacht Haven has been awarded runner up in the Marina Of The Year 2022 awards.
The award for the Ayrshire marina comes after a sustained period of investment in new facilities including a berth holder lounge, upgraded laundrette and the opening of the new marina hotel, The Salt Lodge. The investment, which totals over £1.4million, has seen rewards with the marina reporting an increase in berth holders as well as national and international recognition.
“It’s a real honour to receive this award from The Yacht Harbour Association”, comments Marina Director Stephen Bennie. “It’s been a rewarding year with new customers visiting our marina and increased occupancy at our hotel, The Salt Lodge.”
Stephen continues, “What makes this award extra special is that it was voted for by boat owners around the UK. This gives us the validation that the investments we’ve made in new services and facilities have been well-received by our market, and we’re extremely grateful to everyone who voted for us.
