ABP Troon has issued a Local Notice to Mariners following a technical fault affecting the West Pier vessel traffic lights.
Until repairs are completed, the lights will remain out of service and all harbour users are advised to navigate with extra caution when approaching, entering or leaving Troon Harbour.
Mariners should contact Troon Port Control on VHF Channel 14 prior to entering or departing the harbour and follow any instructions provided.
The temporary measures have been introduced to help maintain safe navigation within the harbour while the fault is rectified.
Further updates will be issued once the vessel traffic lights have been restored to normal operation.
