In a rare event, the Aurora Borealis (also known as the Northern Lights) was visible across much of the UK. As a result, we were fortunate enough to witness the incredible natural phenomenon across many of our Yacht Havens. 

The Aurora Borealis is a natural light display caused by vast clouds of electronically charged particles from the sun. Many of these particles deflect away on their travels through space, but some are captured by Earth's magnetic field causing them to accelerate towards Earth's north and south poles.

The Aurora's wave lights display this is results of atoms and molecules in our atmosphere colliding with electronically charged particles from the sun.
