The Guard Room at Turnchapel Wharf is a fantastic, naval-inspired cafe overlooking the ex-Ministry of Defence site. With an outdoor terrace, this is a great place to walk to and enjoy a coffee & cake in the sunshine.

Turnchapel village is also home to two fantastic, classic pubs; The Boringdon Arms and the Clovelly Bay Inn

Slightly further down the Cattewater is The Mess Room at Yacht Haven Quay, the sister-cafe to The Guard Room. This cafe overlooks the dry stack and, with their new roof terrace, it's a great place to watch the world go by. There's also a unique dive museum next door!
