Thanks to feedback from our customers and from our commitment to continuously improve the services at Yacht Haven Quay, we’re in the midst of a busy winter of developments.
The major task has been the complete rebuild and expansion of the on-site café, The Mess Room. We’re delighted to say that this will be open by the middle of March – you can see the progress of the new building by following this link.
YOU SAY, WE DO!
The other recurring item of customer feedback was the gravel footpath that ran from the café past the chandlery and marina office to the pontoons; you told us that it was hard to push the trolleys and heavy kit over the stones. Therefore, we have rectified this with a brand new tarmac path complete with Napoleonic granite sets. We’re grateful to local lads Pete and Gary from Enviroscape for the excellent job they’ve done.
And another thing…
We know that car parking is under pressure, particularly around Easter when the boatyard is at its busiest. Therefore we’ve created a new dedicated parking area; just inside the main gates on your right, before the KTK, Lewis Marine and Rotec units. You’ll find plenty of marina trolleys up here to help with getting that kit on board your boat.
So what next...?
We’re dedicated to improving our customers’ experience and hope that berth holders will enjoy these new facilities. If you have any further suggestions or improvements that you’d like to see made then please don’t hesitate to speak to Marina Manager Will Rahder or any of the Yacht Haven Quay Team.
