After 14 years running the family business, Kit Rogers is stepping aside from Managing Director of Jeremy Rogers Ltd, with his brother Simon stepping into the role.
Continuing the legacy of his father Jeremy, Kit has grown Jeremy Rogers Ltd from strength to strength, building their company's reputation around the world.
Refurbishing boats has been the mainstay of the business, not only serving customers at Lymington Yacht Haven but attracting owners and vessels from around the world who have entrusted Kit and the Jeremy Rogers Ltd team to deliver outstanding refit work, restorations and customer service.
Alongside this, under Kit's leadership the company has grown their Atlas carbon davits division and have become a known and trusted brand within the superyacht industry. Growing ties with military customers, the business is now capable of providing composite products for partners across the globe.
Not forgetting, Jeremy Rogers' being inextricably linked with Contessa, the brand Jeremy created back in 1966 with the birth of the first Contessa 26. Jeremy Rogers Ltd remains the industry specialist in this class of boat, with boats from around the world coming to Lymington for expert build and refit services.

Thank you, Kit
On behalf of everyone at Lymington Yacht Haven and the wider boating community, we want to express our sincere thanks to Kit for his service to the marine community, his skills, his expertise, and good nature.
Kit has built friendships with many boat owners, at Lymington Yacht Haven and beyond, and we wish him every success in his future career as an SEN teacher at a local school.
Kit’s wife, Jessie will stay on with the Jeremy Rogers’ team.
Kit and Jessie both recently featured in a new Sailing Podcast, discussing the history of their business, the 1979 Fastnet Race and how they found themselves in hot water after exposing an illegal sea cucumber farm!

Welcome, Simon Rogers
A warm welcome to Simon Rogers who will continue the legacy of the family business. In addition to being an accomplished yacht designer and sailor, Simon is the designer of the Atlas davit and has project managed many of the composite military products Jeremy Rogers manufacture.
Simon and Kit are photographer in front of their new Autoclave - a new installation allowing them to build stronger and lighter davits, while cutting their carbon footprint. All composite work will utilise the new autoclave in military contracts and boat work, and there will also be the potential for local businesses to make use of the facility.
