Sea Angling Classic Qualifier makes waves at Lymington Yacht Haven

Lymington Yacht Haven hosted the Sea Angling Classic Qualifiers on a fresh spring day in April. Anglers took to the water with high hopes as they cast their lines into the Solent. Departing Lymington River, competitors had a limited window of five hours to catch, record and release the largest target fish.

Royal Lymington Yacht Club celebrate centenary

Many of “the great and the good” lived in Lymington and were members of the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes, but they wanted their own Club on their home river. That year, Major Cyril Potter and his friends got together at Potter’s house, near the ferry terminal, to form the Club.
