With settled conditions across the Solent, a mix of sail and motor boats made their way over to the island harbour. For some it was their first visit to Bembridge by sea, and the calm conditions and gentle afternoon breeze were ideal for the way over.
The Yacht Haven team were there to meet berth holders at the entrance, helping them navigate the deepwater channel into Bembridge Harbour. And on arrival, we were ready to welcome everyone ashore. With Bembridge Harbour in full swing for the bank holiday weekend, there was a great atmosphere as boats arrived with the tide and everyone gathered together.

The Yacht Havens marquee was the focal point for the evening, with Limoncello spritz, rosé and cold beers flowing, followed by a BBQ of delicious burgers and hot dogs from Sway Butchers, which went down very well.
As with all our rallies, it was as much about the company as the destination - a chance to catch up with familiar faces, meet other berth holders and enjoy some time ashore together.

For some, it was also a great opportunity to try somewhere new or build confidence cruising further afield, with Bembridge once again proving to be a popular destination following our previous rally there in 2023.
These trips are a regular part of the Lymington Yacht Haven calendar, and it’s always great to see so many berth holders getting involved. It's a very relaxed and enjoyable way to make the most of your time on the water and connect with the wider Yacht Haven community.
