What began as a promising evening of Thursday Night Racing at Royal Lymington Yacht Club was cut short as strengthening winds forced racing to be abandoned on the water.
Crews had just begun their evening’s competition when conditions deteriorated. With gusts making manoeuvring increasingly challenging, the decision was made to abandon the racing in the interests of safety.

Photographer Jason Ludlow was on hand to capture the action, with a selection of standout images showcasing the energy on the water and the moody, atmospheric skies above. The dramatic light made for particularly striking shots as boats crossed tacks and jostled for position on the start line.
