An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen for a Marina Manager to champion both operational excellence and outstanding customer service at Lymington Yacht Haven.

The Marina Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the marina, promoting a team culture built around helpfulness. Outstanding facilities are only part of the experience, the Marina Manager will champion a culture where every member of the team is approachable, proactive, enthusiastic and ready to help. 

The Marina Manager will take responsibility for the site’s finances including monitoring income streams, operating costs, identifying commercial opportunities and ensuring that service quality and safety standards are delivered in a financially sustainable way. The managing is responsible for all aspects of health and safety, adhering to all policies and procedures.

Yacht Havens Group is a successful family-run company and one of the UK’s leading marina operators with nine locations across the UK and Europe. Lymington Yacht Haven is a 650 berth marina with a comprehensive boatyard operation. It is one of the UK's most highly regarded marinas, championing first class facilities and outstanding customer service.

About You

You will be a confident and visible leader who enjoys being close to the operation and has a keen eye for the detail.

You will combine strong marine or hospitality-style service standards with practical judgement, calm decision-making and the ability to bring out the best in a varied team.

Most importantly, you will understand and grow the company culture around excellence; delivered through leading by example, ensuring marina services are at the highest level, and motivating the team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

This is a full-time leadership role requiring flexibility to meet the needs of a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year operation.
