A new smart parking system is set to launch at Lymington Yacht Haven in May 2025. This update is designed to improve parking availability for berth holders, their guests, and visitors to on-site businesses.
Seamless Access for Berth Holders
For berth holders and their guests, parking will remain completely free when visiting the marina. The key difference is how cars access and exit the car park.
The new system features Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) at the entrance barrier, which will automatically open for registered vehicles. If your number plate isn’t recognised, you’ll simply need to take a ticket on entry.
When it comes to exiting the car park, there are several convenient options to ensure you avoid charges:
-
Register your vehicles with the new ANPR system to enjoy automatic entry and exit.
-
Use your marina access fob at the car park exit barrier.
-
Enter the daily access code at the exit barrier - You'll find the Car Park Exit code on your myYachtHavens portal, and this code can be shared with your guests to give them access.
-
Speak to the team via the intercom at the exit barrier for assistance.
For the smoothest experience, berth holders are encouraged to register their vehicles ahead of time.
How to Register
Make sure to log in to your myYachtHavens account before 13th May to check or update your list of registered vehicles.
Need help? No problem – just call the team on 01590 677071 or pop into the Marina Office for support with the registration process.
New Visitor Charges Introduced
To prioritise parking for marina users and guests of on-site businesses like The Haven Bar & Restaurant, all non-marina visitors will be charged £5 per hour to park.
Berth holders are kindly reminded not to share access codes or register vehicles for those not using the marina, as misuse may result in tighter controls being introduced.
