Studland 2025

Yesterday, 19 boats carrying 48 berth holders made their way to Studland Bay for a relaxed and sociable summer rally, organised by Lymington Yacht Haven team. With sunshine, calm seas and great company, the atmosphere was spot on for a memorable day afloat.

Blessed with great weather and calm conditions, several boats travelled together, enjoying a scenic fly-by of the Needles along the way. Moorings were readily available, and the day’s activities soon got underway.

With extra help from Rita (Pete's wife), the team were able to run multiple activities – Pete led a paddleboard trip to the south side of Harry’s Rock (complete with beach landing and a swim), Rita hosted a coastal walk, and Rob ran a busy tender service. Meanwhile, Becki kept everyone refreshed with beachside drinks – the Limoncello Spritz was a clear favourite.

Lunch at the Bankes Arms gave everyone the chance to catch up in the sun, with the 'Yacht Haven corner' buzzing with conversation. After lunch, some headed off for a walk, while others stayed put to enjoy the relaxed beach vibe.

The feedback was fantastic, with many thanking the team for a well-run, friendly event. Thanks to everyone who joined us – we’re already looking forward to the next one!
