Lymington Yacht Haven has completed a reconfiguration of the marina to more comfortably accommodate larger boats. The pontoon and piling works have created more berths suitable for motor and sailing boats up to 60ft and three bigger berths suitable for vessels up to 70ft.
Yacht Havens Director, Rupert Wagstaff said "with the new purpose-built berths we have concentrated on providing berths suitable for the larger boats. The width between the berths has been substantially increased to cater for the wider beams of these boats; the all new finger pontoons have been designed wider than usual to create a really stable platform to berth alongside; and we have carefully considered the manoeuvring space on the approach to the new berths, creating berths that will be user friendly with plenty of depth at all states of the tide. Our aim is to enable customers to get the best use of their boats and to have as much fun on the water as possible; an important part of this is having a berth that is suitable for your size of boat."
